The sale management, auctioneers, and employees act as agents for the seller but assume no liability for either the buyer or the seller.
- All responsibility and guarantees are between the buyer and seller
- The highest bidder will be the buyer if the reserve is met or exceeded.
- Bids must be made in good faith, with buyers assuming full responsibility for payment.
- In case of a dispute, the horse will be re-auctioned.
- Registration papers will be provided by mail once cheque payments have cleared
- Buyers and spectators are advised to exercise caution on the sale grounds, especially during horse demonstrations.
- Any person registering is responsible for and liable for their bidding card
- Buyers are responsible for examining horses carefully before bidding (e.g., conformation faults, defects, size, riding ability).
- Buyers assume all expenses and risks on horses after purchase.
- Purchased horses will not be transferred until full payment has been made to vjv
- The correct manifest, including brand information or ‘no brand’, must be completed upon pickup of the horse.
- Elite Invitational Horse sale does not assume responsibility for potential buyers visiting consignors properties.
