The sale management, auctioneers, and employees act as agents for the seller but assume no liability for either the buyer or the seller.

  • All responsibility and guarantees are between the buyer and seller
  • The highest bidder will be the buyer if the reserve is met or exceeded.
  • Bids must be made in good faith, with buyers assuming full responsibility for payment.
  • In case of a dispute, the horse will be re-auctioned.
  • Registration papers will be provided by mail once cheque payments have cleared
  • Buyers and spectators are advised to exercise caution on the sale grounds, especially during horse demonstrations.
  • Any person registering is responsible for and liable for their bidding card
  • Buyers are responsible for examining horses carefully before bidding (e.g., conformation faults, defects, size, riding ability).
  • Buyers assume all expenses and risks on horses after purchase.
  • Purchased horses will not be transferred until full payment has been made to vjv
  • The correct manifest, including brand information or ‘no brand’, must be completed upon pickup of the horse.
  • Elite Invitational Horse sale does not assume responsibility for potential buyers visiting consignors properties.
